Conditionals: Theory and Practice

This teaching resource has been designed for intermediate and higher levels (B1 level and onwards). It includes two files:

• A PDF presentation with a theoretical explanation and examples for each of the four conditional structures (+ modal verbs in conditionals and other expressions used in conditional sentences) and two different exercises to practice the four conditionals: a more simple exercise in which student must put the given verbs in their correct forms to form conditional sentences and then a more advanced rewriting exercise.
• A PDF document that summarizes the form and uses of the four conditionals, as well as the three I wish / If only structures.
